Crafting timeless interiors at Eton College

Francis Joinery was proud to support Francis Construction in the refurbishment of Eton College’s Jacks, Five Courts and Rackets building, delivering a comprehensive package of bespoke joinery throughout the project.

The scope of works included the design, manufacture, and installation of a statement staircase and matching balustrading, expertly crafted from solid oak to provide both structural integrity and a refined, timeless finish. In addition, we produced bespoke cupboards, wall panelling, and sliding doors, all manufactured using high-quality oak veneered MDF with solid oak lippings, ensuring a consistent appearance and durable performance across all elements.

To complement the heritage of the space, we also created bespoke honour boards designed to seamlessly match the existing installations, carefully replicating both material and detailing to maintain continuity with the building’s history.

Precision Delivered, Without Compromise

All joinery components were manufactured with precision in our workshop before being installed on site by our experienced team. Despite a demanding and condensed programme, we worked efficiently and collaboratively to ensure the successful delivery of the project, meeting the required deadlines without compromising on quality.

Through careful planning, skilled craftsmanship, and close coordination, we were able to deliver a cohesive and high-quality joinery package that enhances both the functionality and character of this prestigious educational setting.
